In one of the critiques we have had this quarter i remember telling you that i thought it would be helping to see a wider variety of subject matter within your images and i think this set of images proves that you have taken the steps to do just that. I also mentioned that i would like to see more organic forms and i think you did an excellent job in incorporating those as well. I think the most successful ones are the closer up shot in which you can really see and take in the details of the subject matter. All in all i am really impressed by your images and i can see them making a very cohesive set for your thesis show.
I know you've stopped taking pictures and really honing in on making pictures and I hope all is going great. Even though these images aren't your thesis show images, they look very carefully made and your attention to craft is great. I know you can do it all and I think making yourself JUST develop images was a great idea and I can't wait to see the end results, I know how frustrating it can be to screw up images and I know you've had some problems in the past but I know now that you are really aware of yourself and the skills you have and you're using them beautifully! Good luck and keep up the great work!... as stated above keep kicking ass for sure!
Just like Lilia said, I remember at midterm talking about varying your images and I can clearly see that you have done just that! What really awes me about your photos is that they seem to me to transform these unimportant things into something completely different. There are some photos that this happens in more than others, but I absolutely love the contrast and tonal range in your images. Keep up the good work!
I think it's great that your photos really do transform these everyday mundane objects into another world. I truly gives you a new perspective on the details we don't really stop to look at.
